I know many of you like to keep your tractors clean, so do I. I snapped a couple pictures after I soaked mine down with my foam cannon.

Cool... love it. But I want to see the before and after pics! Especially around your zerks.

I didn't take any afters but it was as clean as new when done. I just pressure wash it off after I let it soak a few minutes. Worse place it around the SCVs in the rear where oil drips and dust clings to it but all that washes right off if you don't let it go for a long time.

However - I do hose off accumulations of dirt because dirt will hold moisture which will cause rust. Along with hosing off dirt - I also hose off the entire tractor EXCEPT the dash. I really do not want to force water into the sealed dash unit.

Is a foam canon a high pressure washer with a liquid detergent suction line. I have that on my high pressure washer but never used it as you do.

My hose off job is simply a nozzle on my garden hose.

A foam cannon is an foam/soap attachment that goes on a pressure washer. You remove the wand and replace it with the little foam gun that has a small bottle of concentrated soap that sprays out almost like shaving cream and as you see completely covered everything. It maybe took me one minute to completely cover the entire tractor. The foam cuts right through any dirt/dust/mud etc and then you just remove the cannon on rincse off with you regular pressure washer. I learned about them from off-road forums as I am into that already, they are a true time saved when washing anything. You can get cheaper ones but I got mine from The Chemical Guys along with their soap. Their are also home brew soap mixes with Tide and Zep but a gallon of the good stuff lasts and LONG time since you only use a few once each time. I did my truck right after I finished my tractor.

I bought a decent and cheap foam canon from China off E-Bay. I like it on vehicles, but it really doesn't address those difficult equipment areas mentioned, so I don't use it for that.

Haven't used it much but back when I had a Corvette I bought a couple of those garden sprayer things you add chemical to the tank and connect it to a garden hose. I put those quick disconnect hose fittings on so I could change from one to the other. I filled one with soap and another with rinse agent. I was hoping the rinse agent would allow me to rinse without drying but alas I still got water spot on my black paint. Still ended up blowing it off with a blower then a finish dry with towels.

My pressure washer has a soap pickup tube and a low pressure nozzle. No extra attachment needed.
