Elon Musk says Tesla's New York factory is making ventilators 'as soon as humanly possible' - Roadshow
With EV's on hold for now Musk is staying busy it seems. They are going for a more basic model with fewer parts and short to electronics to get to production faster. Initially he said it would take 8-10 weeks to ramp up but that was before any concrete plans.
Different story but I saw where ****** has sourced ventilators that are to be delivered mid May. I am starting to think the 6-18 month time window may prove to be more right than not on how long we are going to be dealing with this virus.
EV and all car sales are in the tank. One guy was telling his doctor his retirement account was down by $78K and the doctor said is that all mine is down $192K. Getting that Tesla on retirement plan may be shifting for more than a few.
Since smog seems to lead to more COVID-19 deaths I am sure EV's will be in demand in Europe and China which was the case before this flu.
Smog from coal fuel electrical generation to charge EV's. Germany is burning a record amount to coal and importing a record amount of coal generated electricity. Since shutting down nuclear and installing wind/solar.
