A PV array on the desert will cool. About 15% of the solar energy is converted to electricity vs 100% going to heat the sand. However "environmentalists" conveniently ignore the unnatural shade's affect on the desert tortoise, snakes, lizards, and flora. But dare an ORV leave a tire track? "Utter and total economic devastation!"

A PV array over grass or forest "only" converts abut 15% vs the greater amount used by photosynthesis to convert CO2 to O2.

They need to work on changing the solar panels to white for the big farms and mimic the polar ice cap snow.

You didn't know snow and the polar ice caps are blackbodies? Extremely good absorbers of radiant energy. A layer of snow on the ground helps keep the ground from getting as cold as it might. The snow is extremely good at absorbing solar heat to keep things relatively warm.

Update on the New Mach E that had some problems.

Seems the Youtube video and getting a better dealer really can make a difference.

Sounds like if Ford insists on letting dealerships manage their EV sales like Nissan did they may knock the EVs in the head at the starting gate. Dealerships tacking on a $10K surcharge after the reservation price should bring Tesla more sales.

This guy thinks Ford should just leave it to the company not the dealership and do it like Tesla does it.

That $10,000 surcharge will never show up at Kelley Blue book and the other price guides. I'm not sure for tax purposes if it will be taxed or not taxed at the state level.

Well at least not at the rate that humans fail. Not even talking FSD a Tesla that I might be driving running Auto Pilot is like 8 times less likely to be involved in an accident than when I am driving my F150.

I confess, I'm driving a tractor with a hydrostatic transmission that has no clutch. If it makes you feel better I drive a F350 with a 6 speed manual transmission. We also have a 2020 Ford Escape hybrid that has lane keeping when on cruise control. I do get tired of the alert telling me to put my hands on the steering wheel. They actually are but I guess the sensor doesn't think I'm doing enough with the steering wheel. How is a guy supposed to take a nap with that alert.
