True. Due to their 16% margin they probably can do that for 3 to 5 years. As their volume increases, their cost of goods sold decreases. Musk getting ready to cut the price of the model y again in the USA. He said he is okay to deplete some of their $29 billion in cash on hand. Building and selling 20 million EVS in 2030 is his objective that he is working to make sure it happens.

Keep in mind he has no EV competition in the USA that is selling for a profit but they are selling for a huge losses.
He should invest in power grid and charging infrastructure. Thats the real reason people arent buying EVs. If there was a place to charge everywhere you looked it would be very different adoption curve.

He has already done this in the USA for Tesla. He's doing it for all the other brands now. This is one reason the Tesla Model Y is today's best selling diesel, gas or electric car in the world

"About 26% of crude production is consumed by the transport sector."

That leaves 74% for other markets. Guess where plastics and lubricants come from. The asphalt roads EVs drive on come from crude oil. Prices and demand are holding steady. Neither of the production companies that pump our wells are having a problem finding buyers for our oil. And it is not an insignificant amount.

Yep. Plastics are used in so many products.

Good video showing some uses.
If oil per barrel goes al the way down to $25 most small oil operators would go broke. Then be swallowed by bigger fish Just like what happenned during the Covid peak.

I'll be interested to see sales numbers as tax payer money dries up for some EV models.

Wait!?!? Since it's MSM doesn’t mean lies and the opposite is true, now EVs are great!

Remember the media can't be trusted, unless it supports your currently held position.
On various issues....I tend to read both the left wing media , and the right wing media , and realize that the truth is ussually half way inbetween. Now when both the left and the right wing media start both reporting the same thing ( eg the drastic shortcomings of EVs in Canada and it's winters) then I suspect that is pretty truthful.
