Yes but that is not a reverse polarity...its a battery drain protection.

Had a OEM battery on the 3510 last over 11years with a Battery Minder on it. I use them on all my batteries including my 2500 Diesel with 2 batteries running on 1 tender. Have to test batteries to see if they are weak! Better than not cranking!!
