Battery For 425 (Kohler)

I replaced both ground and hot wires to the battery in case that was not clear. Each is only one piece. I did not tie the ground directly to the starter.
I used it a bunch today and cannot say if started better. I have found that it starts easier when cold if the throttle is set to idle. That seems strange to me.

I always start mine with the trottle off, full choke and work up to 1/2 as I crank. I used to start it at 1/3 - 1/2 throttle, but I started having issues. It may be time for a valve ajustment on my Kohler. I have never done it in 13 years, and around 500 hours.

I have adjusted mine twice at about 1000 hours. I cranked the engine a few minutes ago to see if the lights went off. It started right away at idle and no choke. It had been off for 5 or more hours.
