Battery powered chainsaw

Have a B&D 40 volt. For those occasions where you need more than loppers or a bow saw, but don't want to fire up the Stihl or Husky. Light, short duty.

The string trimmer, leaf blower and hedge trimmer all take the same battery. The key is don't have more to do than one battery.

They have their place. Guys I work with who have electric saws will have the tree in the road cut up in the time it takes me to get my gas saw warmed up.

Oil leakage seems to be a hit or miss issue on all saws, gas or electric.

Just got back in from cutting a fallen limb off the fence - about 5" & 15'. Cut it into 3 sections. As I was putting the B&D up I told the missus, "I'd still be trying to start one of the gas saws."

All of that effort was wasted beginning 7th grade at middle school in Mr. Young's drafting shop class. From then on it was proper drafting style printing for this kid. I pulled straight A's in drafting class. It never changed.

Ditto for me. I print everything but my signature. I can't read my own handwriting (cursive) any more so I don't try. Printing is so natural for me since drafting class.
