I found them last night. I think they go on the telehandlers that they don't sell any more. Just interesting they have a grapple and no accumulator...

Yea, I think your right. They did have an accumulator a while back but it was for round bales if I'm not mistaken.

Weird, that grapple would not work on rounds. Who knows...

The haymaster guys came by my place today. I am sold - when I get ready I am going with the Haymaster 8 bale unit. It will fit my needs nicely.

I am going to work on them to se the grapple up so it is a turn key setup from the factory.

Maybe I missed it but how did you decide on an accumulator over a bale wagon?

As in a bale wagon with a kicker on the baler?

No the type that picks, stacks and unloads automatically.

Price seems to be the deal for me. I am a one man operation haying 100 acres. So, the accumulator behind the baler and a grapple seems to be the right solution for me.

What do you think?

Thanks,
D.

If I were haying 100 acres by myself, I'd consider one of those trailer type bale wagons. This NH 1033 sold for $4450 on eBay last Jan.

It's a more complex piece of machinery than a bale accumulator/grapple, but if you're handy with a wrench you can maintain it and I like that it does the bale accumulation/stacking job with one implement.

The ultimate, of course, would be a self propelled bale wagon, but even used they can be pricy.
