I wish!
Please send some of that weather to the UK

ddivinia said:For Bermuda ya just don't need a moco. Heck, it is so hot right now you can cut a pasture and come right back around and rake it.

EDIT: After looking at that link I see (according to the pictures) they aren't using any Moco's but only disc mowers. Interesting.

Figure out which inline baler yet? I printed off the Hesston brochure - looks interesting.

mark.r said:I honestly could go with any Hesston inline or MF inline. On top of the reasons already mentioned the MF dealer is 11 miles up the road from me. As of now if just makes sense. We just have to get things in order in the office first. That's the down side of have a "real" job I guess. All the fun stuff has to play second fiddle.![]()
Grrrr said:Do the people you sell the bales to mind the weird place the inline balers put the string on the bales?
I had to move a couple of bales that had been baled with one and my fingers were sore after just a couple. All the sharp ends dig into your finger nails..![]()
mark.r said:You know, we've talked about this before in one of the older threads because when someone mentioned it I had no idea what they were talking about. It's a valid concern I am a sure there will always be someone who doesn't like the bales for this very reason. That said, the way I see it is, if I do my best to produce a quality bale of hay then SOMEONE will buy it. I cannot fathom the idea of getting on into the later summer months or winter months when hay becomes a huge necessity and the "picky" people the may have turn down an bale coming out of an inline baler see you ads in the paper for wonderful hay. My bet is they will come knocking because I have a loft full of hay . . . or maybe I won't because I already sold it.
But honestly I did ask my boarder about the strings issue and she said she could see where the strings could get on her nerves having to move a lot of them like that.
I just rolled my eyes. I won't be big deal when I sell them discount hay!
Grrrr said:Yeh. If theres a demand for hay than beggars can't be chosers
You are getting one of the accumulator systems anyway aren't you? So you won't have to handle the buggers anyway
As long as the hay is nice and soft then I can't really see it being much of a problem.
