I just removed the PowerSafe filter from Pasquali XB40 (BCS 740) and found few pieces of rubber sticking out of the filter holes. Any ideas what these chunks of rubber could be?

Looks like some kind of seal - I think I would get ahold of your dealer or BCS and see if their tech guys could help. Good luck.

Is it rtv gasket maker or the Silicone anti-drain back valve from the filter...

Interesting.
As the oil to be filtered goes in through the outer holes then out the center hole, I am guessing it is gasket sealant that was over applied?
You could cut the filter open and see if there is any debris inside, but I doubt it.
Cheers! :drink:

There were few more bits of the same soft rubber or silicon inside the filter.

Dealer said that it is excess gasket from the inside of the rear transmission plate and that this is normal and not an issue to the machine.

Glad to hear it was a minor issue and the dealer was able to help. Enjoy that BCS - they are great machines!
