Chipper Bearcat Chipper - any experience?

Any experience with Bearcat Chippers? Do they work with a John Deere i-match?

I sure would like a i-match compatible unit, but the pickin's sure seem to be slim.

I have a Bearcat 70554 that is a 3pt / PTO driven unit that I run on my Kubota B7500. I have used it for 3 years now and have been very pleased with it's performance.

I have a Woods 5000 which is essentially identical to the Bearcat 70554. I don't know about compatibility with the I-Match but it is a very good unit. I have used it succesfully with a 12 PTO hp tractor.

It is also relatively easy to hook up to a standard 3pt.

I have a Bearcat 72854 it will chip as fast as I can load it, with big wood 6 to 8 in. Tractor power comes into question. I don't know about the I-Match. but the Bearcat is a quality chipper.

I have a bearcat 70554. It has done a ton of work for me and I got it used and it was affordable.

But I wish

It had a feed mechinism as manual feed really beats you up by the end of the day.
That there was an easier way to feed brush into the shredder. Pushing it past the brushes is a pain.
That I had MO POWER. It is easy to bog down my little Yanmar (14hp pto) especially with hardwood. I worry that I may be working the tractor too hard.

It is one of the easier implements I have to hook up to the normal 3 point on my Yanmar

The Bearcat Chipper that I bought in January is I-Match compatible and it is very easy to hook up. I run it on a JD 4710.

I have a Bearcat. It has a 9' capacity with hyd feed. I have had it for several years and it has done a fine job for me. I have it on a 5300 JD and it works great.
