Bearing Greasing Question

Here is a thread that came up on google-

If you look at the last pic you can see a double lip seal. ????

i ca't say that i have ever had a DLS on an axle fail on any of my trailers.. ever... well.. ok.. from greasing anyway!

1 time I have actually pushed a seal out.. entire seal actually dislodged... don't recall if it was a single or double lip.. but i simply reseated it and went. and it didn't push out till i had that sucker 101% full.. so was completely my fualt too.

Yes, they even show a spring loaded double lip seal. Single lip seals are fine for standard application's but for EZ Lube or marine you need double lip.
