Bedliners

Never used those. My last F150 had the spray in Linex liner that I really liked. My Ranger had a removable liner that I guess was good EXCEPT had to have holes cut in it to get to the tie downs.

I've heard the drop-in ones trap moisture under them and eventually rust the bed. Slight movement of the liner or sand getting up under there rubs the paint off leading to rust from any moisture. I have a spray on from the factory on my F150. I love it so far. Great traction when wet, and an addition 1/8" or so of material protecting the bed. After seeing Mythbusters use it to bomb-proof cinder block walls I'm convinced! lol They even blew up a couple trucks, one with and one without. The one with had the only surviving bed. It was bent to ****, but still in one piece. Unlike the one without that was turned into a debris field!

We have a spray in and I would not go any other way. Ours is black, but they can actually color most of them. Speed Liner is the brand we have. But there are others. Had it done professionally. They had to grind the clear coat off the paint job in the bed. But you don't know that because of course it has all been covered by the spray in product.

I had a truck with spray in liner. Then last truck I got them to throw in bed liner. I think they all come with the holes these days, unless you buy something really cheap.

I don't overly care either way. If I could dealer to throw in a liner again, I would not pay for spray in.

The hooks might be a little blocked by liner. But I use them all the time no problem. Get some short chains, and leave them attached to hooks. But just today I was using all 4 with ratchet strap. two with chain, two without.

I have had some of spray in come off. Probably from snowmobile carbides. Haven't had sled in one with liner. I saw get whatever.

I recommend a spray in also. My '03 Sierra has been wearing one for 14 years...tough...tough...tough. My next one will be a spray in as well.

The 08 GMC has a TOFF spray-on bed liner. It has held up well for 9 years. While it is no help to the OP as I don't know what brand is used our 2017 GMC came from the factory with a spray-on bed liner. If something messes up it is covered by the GM warranty. Same for the Curt GN hitch and trailer plug in the bed.
