Been given a tractor as a greek gift!

What I have is the MF litterature. No Jensales or I & T... The manuals on my CD are same as my local dealer have... but isn't complete enough for somebody like me who has to learn everything! Since the tractor isn't mine I don't plan to buy more manuals for now, I hope I'll get along with the help of tractor guys out here.

Assumed from the title the tractor was yours. This is the AGCO manual. AGCO is the mother company of Massey Ferguson.

Well your a heavy truck mechanic and have the manuals so you are way ahead of me. The MF 135 is a great tractor with many followers on the forum and not that hard to work on. Maybe it would help if you could get more specific about what problems you have. I'll bet someone has some ideas.

There are only two problems, WEAR and DIRT, but there is everywhere... Everything leaks and is loose and/or cracked, so I try to set my priorities to just make it usable even if it doesn't go too good and if it pours oil everywhere. This tractor would need a complete reseal, new hoses at least but I'm not the one who will pay for it...

I just had a look at my manuals and I have two shop manuals. The real Massey Ferguson one is better; explanations are clearer and there are more pictures. Unfortunately I don't have a parts manual.

I was looking at tractor images today and I'm not even sure anymore that it's a 135... I thought it was because of the VIN which is 9A 76459. The model is hard to tell since it's all patched and modded and misses parts... It also looks a lot like a 40... See for yourself: ist't it gorgeous with the smurf pool to collect leaks!
