Bees kill 23 yr old in Lagrange Texas

Bees & other vespids = no fun

I'm now getting shots for them & have several Epipens at my disposal.

Got stung 1 1/2 years ago & ended up in emergency room for 3 hours with someting like 5 or 7 viles of "stuff" jammed into an IV in my arm.

One thing I was unaware of until recently. Be careful with the Epipens. They can save your life if you get stung, but... If you stick yourself by accident when you don't need it, they can cause horrible swelling. One of my parents neighbors stuck herself in the hand last year, and had to go to the emergency room.

Tell your buddy that you have a "crazy" guy on TBN who will pay half of that $200 dollar fee to a bee keeper. I'd gladly donate $100 to save some bees and maybe save some lives. Pokin' an old rotten cottonwood with a bale spear is likely to get him killed from a flalling tree. Surely, there is a better way. If it only costs $200. I'm onboard to foot half the bill.

I believe you and in this case its too late. You would go broke helping out the bee problem in south Tx... My buddy said to tell you thanks, and that killing them was the last thing he wanted to do but they started stinging the dogs and kids while 2 blocks from the nest (not even mowing). He's had nests in the same tree before that were there for years. Kind of a live and let live dude.

BTW, he did have a different large tree fall on his new truck during a storm a while back so he knows about falling trees.

I know I can't solve the bee problem in South Texas. There must be a lot of problems there with Africanized bees. I was really responding to what your buddy was doing instead of spending $200. It just sounded to me like he was taking some steps that were dangerous for the sake of a few bucks. Not being there, I have no way of really judging the situation.
