Have a Befco 60" flail. Beautiful cut.

Out of curiosity, does it really stand for 'Best Equipment Farmers Can Own' or did you make that up? Pretty cool either way - I like it!

My 7ft grader is well made and works great.

I think I saw it on a company brochure, in any case I did not create it.

I ordered a 6' grading scraper last week, should have it pretty soon so I'll see. When looking at the specs vs the Woods and the Land Pride it was heavier and it has an extra ripping shank but was a little cheaper.

What about BEFCOs RCO-08V "V" Rakes? Pros? Cons?

I have a 7' Befco 3ph finish mower that has taken a lot of abuse ...it has a mulching kit and is, therefore, more susceptible to rocks and branches (but, it is a finish mower, after all)...

There is one design "flaw" in my opinion: the four wheels don't "caster" enough and so it doesn't like sharp turns or reverses ...tires roll off rims, even w. high psi and well greased spindles...should have ordered hard rubber instead of pneumatics

otherwise, good product

I couldn't have said it better: I get good use (and abuse) from my BEFCO w mulching kit ...have same sensitivity to stray branches on the ground, and originally had endless grief with pneumatic tires which, as stated, don't caster gracefully ...learned not to turn abruptly at speed and not to backup with the mower on the ground ...and, keep the tires highly inflated. As I have gotten a kinder, gentler touch, tires are doing okay now. with those caveats, highly recommend (although if I were purchasing again, I would get the RM770 for a wider cut and live without the mulching (which is nice and leaves no (no) dried grass visible...but does require mowing slower (to allow time for the double cut of the two-level mulching blades...2mph max is recommended by BEFCO)
