I've got a Belarus tractor 500 and all of a sudden the oil pressure dropped to 0 and it started knocking. Shut it off and towed it to the barn and dropped the pan. Oil pump is ok and then thought it might be a rear main. Pulled apart and main looks good. Took the centrifical oil filter apart and checked and cleaned that but that didn't look like it was the problem either. Anyone have a similiar problem or does anyone know what the problem might be. Thanks for anything, Joe

On my jeep I first check the oil gauge. The one inside is electrical - I plug in temporarily a mechanical, directly in the block and make sure it is not just ther sender or short circuit.

The gauge could be bad but that wouldn't explain the knocking .

Check all the bearings sounds like one mau have stacked or spun. I had one go like that in my old JD scraper at work.
