There weren't many places the 6x4 couldn't go. Seemed like my 6x4 diesel could get traction in almost any terrain. Didn't do well in deep mud, though. The front end would always catch air when topping over a steep rise. Kinda surprising when it first happened.

Unfortunately there aren't any places the 6x4 could go that a hpx can't and most likely any other utv that has 4wd, even a mule 610 could go more places then one. The one exception to this is deep snow, once you got a crust ontop of the snow you could glide right over it with the 6x4. But that was only if you were going full speed, if you slowed down at all you would sink in and be dead in the water.

My HPX diesel is light years ahead of the 6x4 I had. Wouldn't want to go back to the 6x4. It was tough but rough riding, brakes weren't effective like on the HPX and had a low top speed.

I will stick with this and I never use 4 wheel drive anymore. Don't need it.

with the right setup tires or tracks you don't need all wheel drive .them tracks are nice !!

You're up early, with over 2500 sq. in. of track on the ground, that must be about 1lb. per sq. in. so I'd think that is a pretty light footprint, is that about right?
