Guys, my search is over - I found the "best bang for my buck" tractor.

I am sorry to say it is not a Kubota, even though I wanted a Kubota so bad, and its not under $20K, as I decided I need a factory cab.

It is a KIOTI DK-40SE HST with Factory Cab and Front Loader. It it 41 horse, 4 cylinder diesel, tractor, with Hydrostatic transmission, similar in size and options as the 40 horse Grand L series of Kubota.

It is much heavier than similar size JD or Kubota. The hydraulic flow is much higher than similar size JD or Kubota.

The Loader bucket is removable and the Loader with take any Skid Steer attachments with no modification, standard.

The price is about $30K, however they offer $4K off the price right now on this model as a promo, so I will pay about $26K for this tractor. This is a lot of tractor, with factory cab (A/C and heat) for this kind of money. Similar JD or Kubota would be at least mid $30s.

This is a nice YouTube video showing a very similar machine:

I really with I could get a Kubota, but I don't want to pay $10K extra for the name.

Hey, I didn稚 say go buy a nicer tractor than mine! Now I知 jealous! My experience was the exact same are yours, I was pretty sure I was going to buy a new Kubota, especially since I had a relationship with my Kubota dealer, but ended up with the Kioti based on bang for the buck. Congratulations, you値l have TONS of fun with that machine.

I think you did really good...You are happy and that is what is important..just the fact that the Loader with take any Skid Steer attachments with no modification and that was standard is worth more than I bet you realize...but you may know...wow ! I wish I had that feature on either one of my tractors..Just think of the attachments you can now just rent for special one time needs instead of hiring it done or having to buy the attachment...

Jealous !

I just got a B2620 a few months ago for my 2.5acre lot (330x330). I looked at the BX, but that was too little for what I wanted to do. The B is still small enough to get around, mow, etc, but large enough to do some stuff i want to be able to do. I have used a Ford 1920, that was nice for doing road work, and an L3200,which was nice for moving dirt around, but I can get the B around much easier to mow. The other thing to look out for, is height of the tractor, and how much tree trimming you'll have to do.

I am happy with our Kubotas, but am not brand loyal as we own John Deere, Case, Ford and Massey Ferguson. You got a very nice tractor for a price with which are comfortable and that's all that counts.

Good choice. Chalk another one up to Kioti. Great tractors, you'll love the cab.

If snow removal is a top priority then you really need a front hydraulic angle blade or a front mounted blower. To keep within your budget this would mean a B3200 or B3300su. The next size up with front mount attachments is the Grand L series and just the tractor alone is almost your whole budget.

You could get a B3200 or B3300 with BOTH a loader and a 60" full hydraulic front blade for under $20K.

What are some of the other tasks besides snow removal that you will be doing?

I'm not convinced you need a front mounted blade or blower to move snow. I've moved a lot of snow with my rear blade. I only use the loader when we get a lot. I'm in central illinois and plow out myself, 4 neighbors, and about 1/3 mile private road including a ravine thats about 50 ft. deep with a dam at the bottom. Granted, we probably don't get the snowfall the OP gets, but I've been plowing myself out for about 8 years without a front blade or blower. The tractor is a 99 L3710 HST with loaded rears and chains, six foot rear blade.
