I bought a six foot box blade from TSC, I have a Ford 2120, after a few years I have had to replace multiple cat pins, both sides, keep bending them and the supports of the box blade are bent. I was looking at the King Cutter and the supports are solid steel. Looks a lot sturdier. I have a lot more work to get done. Don’t want to replace the CAT pins every time and maybe the supports. Get a better box blade or beat the s out of this one? What do you guys think? I have a lot of rocky soil. Thanks

Rocky soil can be real hard on box blade. I bent the top link on one of my tractors year ago on unyielding rocks. You might be best served fixing and patching the old one.

If your pull/lift pin is mounted to a single arm with a pin that has a nut to hold it on, I would suggest adding a second pull arm and use a through pin. That way, you are pulling from 2 points on each side, rather than one.
Hope this makes sense.

Go to the 360 degree view. You can see what I'm talking about in the picture. You could run the extra arm all the way to the rear like the other.

I have a 72" bush hog brand box blade that I have beat the crap out of in my rocky soil. Other than paint it still looks like the day I got it almost 20 years ago.

I was going to order a TS one...but for a few hundred more the EA one would be much better.

Do you have the draft control engaged? If so, check if there is a lighter setting. That will enable it to lift instead of bending things.
