I would think that a bush hog would do the job and you don't need to worry about poison.:2cents:
Are these products safe to use in wooded setting when trying to get rid of poison ivy, or will it kill the trees? We have a bunch of poison ivy on some paths I have cut through the woods and I would like to not have to worry about the kids walking the paths but aside from fencing some goats I was wondering my options.
I would kill it all with a round up product and replant the grass then follow up with a 2 4 d product, Would provide better outcome Now I am imagining a property mostly covered in weeds vs a few weeds in a mostly grass pasture your choice.
These herbicides enter the plant thru the leaves (or sometimes thru the bark, depending on the kid of herbicide and the kind of tree) not the roots, so just don't spray the foliage.
