Well the deal is done, bought the Deere Z960M. Hopefully I don’t regret it. Seems like a nice machine.

Nice! Im trying to buy one. I have an offer for someone to buy my 915E so I can trade up but my wife is complaining lol.

When I bought my Ferris, I wondered every time I used it why I waited so long (budget) to get one.. I'm sure you will love it and if there are issues, they can be solved.

I may switch to a Ferris diesel. I’m seriously impressed with the suspension

I have a 54" Ferris IS700 and love it. Use it at our ranch for mowing around the buildings and trimming under 225 young pecan trees. The suspension lets you go about twice as fast and not blow out a kidney. I will never have a zero turn without suspension.

wow, 225 pecan trees. Did you graft your own? If I see a guy in DB Texas on a Ferris, I will honk. I drive Hwy 21 to work and back.

We bought 80 trees from Sandy Ridge last year and another 150 from Wommacks this year. I plan to start grafting over the next couple of years, especially since this corona ordeal is putting a big dent in my wallet and I suspect the economy is going to be in the dumps for a long time. Right now I am just trying to get the existing trees big enough so we can start grazing the cows under them and I won't have to mow as much. The traffic on 21 sure has gotten lighter without all of the Aggies on it, don't know how the DPS trooper who runs radar there is staying awake.
