I have had BFG All Terrain and Mud Terrain tires on my trucks. AT tires were just OK in most conditions, but did not clean out well and become slicks in real mud situations. MT tires were awesome off road in just about anything, including snow. Anything sucks on ice. My current truck is a 2018 Duramax diesel. It had the stock Goodyear Wrangler SRA on it when I bought it. They are OK but 1 time of getting stuck in light mud had me missing the mud terrain tires but I didn't want the full on mud tire this time. I ended up with a hybrid tire. Nitto Ridge Grappler. They are more like mud terrain lugs on the corners and an all terrain type center. So far I'm pretty impressed with them. They do seem to be a good blend of the best aspects of AT and MT. I haven't really put them to a solid test yet but I'm thinking they will do well for me. Might be worth a look for ya.
