Best UTV for Leg Room?

I dont know how you're measuring leg room, but the teryx and rhino have less leg room than all others. I'm a current teryx owner, and former rhino. I spent some money in gas pedal modifications to make it "acceptable."

i drove the ranger around for a few days and it was too close i had a hpx gator and it had a bit of room but not as much as the rhino so my comparison is for the hpx/ranger and the teryx and rhino.the others i can't comment on.i think the best one for comfort is the razor it has a laid back seat and has a bit more leg room .now the seats are way to skinny for big people.

Looked at a bunch and went with the Polaris 500 crew. Being 6'4" and 230lbs the Ranger fit best, plus it is a power house and runs 48mph {down hill} then the rev limiter kicks in. The 900 rtv and the Mule crews do have the extended bed which is nice though. But speed, work horse and comfort is what I was after.

Comfort and working heft is also more important to me than bed size or even speed. My property has hills and if I try 48mph on those, whatever I get better have good seat belts and a strong ROPS!

The Ranger looks to be heading the top of the list. I'll see if I can find one to sit one this weekend.

Anyone have any experience in the New Holland Rustler 120 or 125?

I would take a look at the Jd 825i or 855 diesel I am 6'3" and 300 pounds and find there is plenty of room with bench seat and there a solid work horse

If you go with the crew or reg. cab the 500 has been around for a long time and it is very durable. At first I was driving slow then found the fun speed it makes you feel like your 21 again. With 4 wheel disc brakes it stops great.

Checked out the Bobcat UTV and no joy with leg room. Turns out Polaris makes the Bobcat (with some beefy modifications, so the salesman tells me) so I guess I can pretty much expect the same from the Ranger. Stopping by Kubota today and maybe Arctic Cat for kicks. They're both local.

Still looking. I have narrowed down to the JD Gator 855D and Polaris Ranger (was wrong that since Polaris makes the Bobcat, it would configure the same). The small difference I found between the JD and Polaris and all the others I've tested is the design of the accelerator. Both have spring-plate, hanging pedals. Whereas the others I've tested have through-the-floor-based pedals. This is most uncomfortable (for me) as it requires your heel to be off the floor (at least until you floor it). The hanging pedals allow heel rest on the floor. The newer Kawasaki Mule was/is close and I really want to find a New Holland Rustler 120 (with it's 13-way driver's seat adjustment) before I pull the trigger. Can't find any in my area, though. Plenty of NH dealers but no one stocks the UTV's. Maybe that's telling me something. <g>

Your foot will bounce on the hanging pedals.....unless you have something to plant your heel. I have a Teryx, and I resolved by simply screwing a half round of about 3" pipe to the floorboard. If I was buying today, I'd take a long look at JD diesel.
