I've had a 6" Jimna for close on 5 years. There has been the odd time it's got choked and once it threw a belt. I've reversed the blades once since new. Other than that it's been problem free and it's not because it isn't worked.

I have a Jinma. I am a tinkerer, so I do work on it, always trying to make it better. I believe the tinkering has made a good machine great. As posted, the best buy for the money. There are people that could tear up an anvil, and people that hate Chinese products. I have tried to avoid the Chinese stuff, but in this case, I gave in and don't regret it.

I have a wallenstein BX42 and I love it. I really like having my own chipper because we have 6 acres of trees and I can use it any time. Anything over 3-4 inches goes in the splitter pile.

I also have a Wallenstein, BX62, which is a great machine. It is sized well for my JD5210. I was hesitant to buy the Chinese out of concern with getting something that didn't work right or waiting for parts...perhaps not an appropriate concern but when I researched my purchase I did find posts to support that idea. No worries, no negative posts that I had found about Wallenstein or Valby (too expensive for me.)
You live nearby. PM me and you are welcome to come over and see my chipper and I'll even fire it up so you can see it in action. It doesn't take long to hook up and get to work.

I'm looking to buy a wood chipper does not need to be a 3 point hitch tye just want the best chipper for my money I don't want to spend more then $3K. I would apprecate all feed back and product reviews.

you can get a much better one if you look a low hours used units, that will get you in to a name brand made in USA rather than a cheap import.

Yes you can...I did (Woods 5000)...
But used chippers aren't too common and you have to move quickly when you find one.

Roy is spot on about having to move fast on a quality used chipper. My BX-42 was posted on Craigslist at midnight, and riding in my trailer at 10 a.m. the next day. (Oh, you can't go wrong with Wallenstein.)

I am another happy Wallenstein owner. (BX42) You can buy it new for under $3000 delivered.

It is built in Canada and it is very high quality. I would highly recommend.

If you see a used one that looks good snap it up (but only if it is a good deal), it will sell fast.:2cents:
