BEWARE OF TBN SELLING ADVICE!

PM's can't be read by anybody who doesn't have access to our database so that means moderators can't read PMs. The forum software itself doesn't have the functionality to just go poking around PM folders---and that includes administrators. Technically all data is all in our database but I have no interest in actually going through the effort of reading private messages. We're a small enough company that we can actually have honest policies.

Having said that if some day we get a call from law enforcement or a subpoena, yes, we might have to turn over PMs. But that's never happened in 21 years.

I'm sure members have reported inappropriate PM's, flaming, spam, threats etc. those would go as acceptable then, if they cannot be investigated by Staff. this would be as a resolving of a complaint by members.. I say this a a Super Moderator of another unrelated website that this can be done there, we didn't allow PM's of a nature that violated rules, and acted on members complaints of rule breaking..

I actually agree with your post. The negative treatment you received for just talking about the tractor you had for sale on Ebay was amazing.

The moderators failed by not closing the thread earlier and giving a few suspensions out.

This is what it seems to me also, just being a casual observer. I don't see where the OP is really out of line, but I don't have much of the back story and I'm only hearing his side of this story.

Yes, 22 PMs have been reported in 21 years and yes moderators can see the reported PMs but can't delete them or act on it. It's there to prevent spammers. :dance1:

Someone sending a few mean messages can easily be ignored, someone starting 100 threads and harassing people is different. I like the approach here, let people figure it out on their own a little. Also seems to be a more mellow/mature crowd on this forum, where most guys aren't the type to get "easily worked up" and understand some people react differently to different situations and don't take it personal in the long run.

Does Google actually track FB canceled listings?

I have no information as to how Google conducts their business.
The good news is that I deposited $9000 in my bank at precisely 1:14PM EDT (deposit slip info) on Friday July 26th 2019.
Maybe ask Google if they can verify that $9000 savings bank deposit for you?
