BH 75 Hoe on a 2800/3400?

How exactly does it attach? I'm thinking of getting one for my 2800. What all is involved in installing and removing the hoe? I have a finish mower that I use to mow my grass with. Do the lower 3pt hitch arms have to be removed? Does the subframe mount have to be removed to put the 3pt hitch arms back on?

Lastly, does Kubota do financing for the BH75? I just paid my tractor off and I would love to get the 0% 42 months on the hoe. I doubt that is possible though.

Well, I just talked with the dealer and I can get the 0% for 42 on the hoe. Price installed would be $6,800. How does that sound? I may be able to get a couple hundred knocked off of that if I try.

I never thought they would offer the hoe at 0% unless it was attached to a new tractor that you're buying. I need to check into that.

$6800.00 installed is a good price as well.

That's what I thought! I checked Kubota's website and it does state the financing is available on the attachments as well. I guess you don't have to buy a tractor too. Heck, if I put $500 down, I'm only looking at a $150 monthly payment.


Anyone have any experience in removing and installing the BH75? How big of a headache am I looking at in going from mower to hoe?

Unfortunately..no experience, but from what I've been told you should be able to go from the hoe to a 3pt. in a matter of minutes with a little experience.
I also heard that the kubota 75 is easier to remove than the woods bh80.

The mount on the BH75 is the same type of 4 point mount that Kubota uses on the BX24, and it is easy to remove, and reinstall the backhoe. One tips the boom back with the hydraulics until the bucket touches the ground, and relieves the pressure on the top mounting pins. The pins are removed, and then the boom is tilted back towards the tractor which tips the backhoe out of engagement with the top mounting points. Next, the stabilizer arms are lowered to raise the bottom two pins out of the mount, and the tractor is moved ahead a few inches to clear the hoe. The hydraulic lines are then disconnected after relieving the pressure on them, and you are good to go.

Woods uses a similar mount, but the top pins have a nut that needs to be removed with the included wrench.

Sounds similar to the loader removal. I thought the price was decent considering it wasn't going to be purchased with the tractor. Well I have until June 30th to convince the wife. It shouldn't be too hard given the list of things I will be able to accomplish. That will give me some time to save for a decent down payment. I might have to sell a couple of guns.

Anyone have any picture of what the subframe on the rear looks like without the hoe attached?

Well, that was easy. I got the OK from the wife. Called the dealer, got appoved for 0 down and 0% for 42. I'm going to talk to him on Monday to make arrangements for the install. I've got the new tractor excitement all over again.
