Since we're talking about a different class of machine, I hardly see how this comment has any relevance. Perhaps you're sugesting that he go for a JD 2305 instead where you can mow with the BH on?
1*I can't imagine why you'd want to do that when the BH is so easy to remove .
2*And what possible reason could you have to put your comment in all red letters?

Cliff
1*Because I go back and forth between BH & Feel work and mowing to often for constantly changing implements .
2*I don't see where it matters about color unless you're looking for something trivial to nit pick about.
To me there are more serious issues to be concerened with than waisting my time on trivial matters like the color of the letters typed on a computer.

1*I'm guessing I can go from lawnmower to backhoe in under an hour once I figure out the cylinder removal.

2*If you have to do this frequently you may want to consider evaluating the cost of the mower deck with the cost of a standalone riding mower/ZTR.

3*The MMM is probably the most troublesome attachment since it affects the backhoe and the ground clearance.

1*Would you want to do this 2 or 3 times a week?
2*I can leave the MMM BH and Fel on my tractor and use any one of them any time with out any switching around and I still have a stand alone riding mower for mowing and a seperate GT for front blade and tiller work.
3*Not with my set up.

Nope, if I had to do that I would get a standalone mower and ditch the MMM. Luckily I'll likely only do this 2-3 times a year - if that. I'm glad you're happy with your setup but even if it were possible I wouldn't want to mow with a FEL and BH attached - there just isn't enough clearance on my property to make the turns (at least initially, I'm sure I'd knock enough stuff over to make it work :)).

The 2520 with backhoe is a powerful system, I'm glad it's got the full subframe despite the issues with the MMM. It's nice to see they seem to have changed the 2320 to fix the independent lift mounting issue, too. Seems JD can listen when they need to :)
