I am having trouble with my backhoe. It is a p.t.o. driven woods BH7500. The out riggers and the boom bleed off. They fall in less than a minute. Does anybody have any info on this. Thanks

This may not help . . . but it's a start!

Make sure that the hydraulic fluid level is not low. Carefully check the suction line to the PTO pump to insure there are no leaks. Then move all the cylinders through their full range several times to bleed the system of any entrained air.

Depending on the number of hours/years on the cylinders, it could be that the packing/"O" rings are worn and leaking by.

Welcome to TBN..
Try cycling all the cylinders as mentioned to bleed the air out.
Messicks.com or woodsequipment.com should have a downloadable parts and / or operator manual.

Thanks, I am thinking this may be the problem. This backhoe set for a long time before I got it. Worked fine at first. but is beginning to show its age.
