I got my BH80X last Friday. I have noticed that if I shut the tractor off for a few hours with the BH up, that it will drop a couple of inches by the time I return. The outriggers also drop a little bit overnight. I always lower the hoe when I park it for the night with the bucket resting on the ground to take the pressure off the tractor.

Is this normal for a new piece of equipment?

Mine has done the same since it was new as well. I keep the boom lock on mine if I won't be using the hoe in the next 20 minutes or so. I put a strap between the stabilizers, an end hooked on each pad, when I park it for the night.

Completely normal, they dont spend the $$ to correctly check valve these things.

OK. I guess I was comparing it to my loader, which doesn't seem to visibly drop at all.

Thanks!
