Someone threw out ten foot lengths of this L-shaped rubber a few years back.

I'm not certain of its original use. Perhaps edging for landscape rocks or pavers ? Anyhow I bolt short sections together to make tool holders.

I made a couple of flat washers from 3/16 inch plate and welded them to short sections of pipe ...

I'm sure you realize that voids the warranty and would bring down the wrath of the OH&S if you were still a business...:ROFLMAO:

Not too worried about warranty for my 35 year old machine. LOL

Very clever. Do you have a way for the boom to not slip back towards the machine? I always get a little trigger happy with my curl.

That would be a good feature, but no.

Keep in mind a forklift doesn't have anywhere near the amount of rollback as a loader.

Well, he may be hiding them, but I haven't seen any pictures of round tuits in his shop ...though as much as he seems to get done without them I'm thinking he doesn't need any either.

The rest of us mortals however..... (pretty sure I could use more than a few given how many unfinished & yet to be started projects I've already got).

Only 218.5 months more until I can retire.... and that's not counting down, it's just long range "strategic" planning.;)

I think I get less done at my house and shop now that I am retired than I did before, but the neighbors are sure getting to know me better.
