Wait until the New Green Deal makes it illegal to fuel tractors to grow crops and illegal to fuel trucks to haul food into the cities. And of course no beef can go into the city since cows are illegal. So all those people can live in there without anything to eat.

They can just buy their food at the grocery store where it is made.

Killing is bad, so why don't hunters just buy store meat that's made without hurting animals? Does it taste different?

I hate cities. But I have heard the opposite. They are coming back. The children of people who fled the cities don't remember why their parents left. Plus millenials don't like to drive or commute.

I didn't watch the video, but don't believe cities are dying.

I am seeing a resurgence here... some said it would never happen after growing up with boarded up houses and neighborhoods with homes just wasting away...

There has been a complete reversal here in Oakland... population up, prices up... store fronts renovated, homes improved and the big shocker is kids of those that grew up here and escaped with their parents in the 60's are returning in droves... plus the commute from the suburbs can be horrible...

Population up and many crimes down... but is it sustainable?

Big Cities will make a comeback and that will be the only place people are allowed to live. Like animals at the Humane Society.

When I returned to Berkeley with my wife a few years ago, to show her my college stomping grounds when Reagan got elected, I didn't recognize the place. Kind of sad for me but a good thing that the place has rejuvenated. I did find my old boss (Eid's TV) still selling video equipment... just relocated from Shattuck to Telegraph after all these years! Just googled him and he is still kicking. Better visit him again soon!

In the video the Bay Area is the only place in the country with higher crime than Seattle. Seattle is booming as well, but the tide is turning for a lot of people. Many regret moving into the city, paying big money for where they live and having to deal with the drug addicts and their filth and trash on the street, in the parks, cemeteries, everywhere. As the video says... how did we get like this?

Big city population is just like snow birds flocking to the south every Winter. Many are leaving that routine while at the same time many new ones are are taking their place.

You know, I am sure my Gram would say "We are reaping what we have sown." Policies all written for the loud mouths, and their cause of the month. Allowing a government whose primary purpose is more government, one that believes we work for it. Law Enforcement that is forced to dedicate more and more time to governments short cited policies and bent to becoming 'cash 'ticket' writers instead of crime prevention. One that must call accounting before considering a 'big' arrest. Corporate Greed and judicial power on a such a level that it will take centuries to make historic sense of. We planted our GMO corn, we forced the masses to digest it in their fuel and HFC's, and it is now close to becoming sentient.

At least that what I think my Gram might say. Me, I'm taking the tractor out with a bush hog and grapple this beautiful morning - AND MAKING SOME NOISE - YO! :cool2:

The Vegans are the ones that get me; they say mankind was not intended to eat meat, when in fact, the combination of eating meat, preparing and cooking it (and veggies too) is responsibility for man developing his large brain, and for certain evolutionary changes in the teeth, jaw, tongue and throat and maybe even for a boost in developing speech.

Sorry Vegans: Here'''s How Meat-Eating Made Us Human | Time

^^^^
Another consideration; if we weren't meant to eat meat, why do we have a gall bladder?
