Big tool rack - no returns in 7 years claim

i've got a BTR and love it... i used to carry my chain saw(s) in the FEL bounced it out twice. ran over it twice... first time damaged the case, second time cost me about 250. plus destroyed the case. i would buy it again.

yes. they are expensive. and it's heavy. it came unassembled, but assembly was straightforward and i thought the material was appropriately strong... it has several "straps" that help hold smaller tools to the framework. they stretch and have many adjustment holes... i've torn 2 of the straps... that is my only complaint. i see the possibility of damage to the wheels... they are strong, but if someone thinks they are going to rip them off, just leave them off... they make it very easy for me to disconnect and then roll the BTR over to the side of the barn!

i also like Grouse's tool rack! that would have saved me a lot of money..

it seems i was frequently headed back to the barn for a certain tool i left behind. the BTR has several compartments that can hold tools, fuel, bar oil, whatever. my "return trips" has greatly diminished with the BTR. of course grouse could always add on another container to his model also!

I am looking at the big tool rack and their promo material claims they've had no returns in 7 years. I figured there had to be at least one ornery person not happy with their big tool rack so I looked into their return policy.

"Returns will only be accepted within 14 days of the receipt of your product. The product must be returned unopened in the original packaging. We do not accept returns of used products."

I think I found the reason they've had no returns in 7 years. I am not trying to say the product is bad, it looks really nice and I'm strongly considering buying one. I found the return policy pretty funny though.

All that said, are you happy with yours?
Hi John,

Thank you for your interest

That line stating unopened was an error from an old Amazon policy that was placed on the site recently in error and has since been taken down. That said lots of comments here questioning the heavy duty and policy. If any of you deal with Amazon as a supplier you will know lots of people use it as a let me buy it, see it and return it for no reason, so we were just tying to eliminate that. All of that said I stand behind our products 110% read our reviews… This will tell the story. Talk to an owner of a BTR the quality is second to none.
All the best to you guys let me know if you have any questions.

You are welcome. I started this company over 7 years ago and take major pride in providing the highest quality, most useful products based on the needs I have as a tractor owner who’s loves to work on his property. I strive everyday to exceed our customers expectations and just treat people the way I would want to be treated, every rack is built to the highest quality standards. I won’t have it any other way! I will honestly tell you we have not had one return on a Bigtoolrack since we started in 2014. Thank you for posting this and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me directy.

A couple of very professional responses from the owner of BTR.

I am too cheap to invest in something like that. But for someone who wants instant gratification, has no fabrication skills, or has more money than time, it has a niche.

I so appreciate you coming by to clear things up.

This was the first gift my wife wanted to purchase for me after getting a tractor... your rack. I know she would probably use it a lot more than I might... but one never knows!

I was concerned about bending a leg if I dropped the rack lower than what I should - by stupidity or accident. So I decided to hold off until I could ascertain my needs more clearly... I'm a newbie!! Thanks again

Don
