Big tree removal

Did the same but used a hitachi 135 trackhoe. You can reach much further up the tree I do this with my cottonwoods Which are about 80-100 feet by 30-40 inch diameter. Will have to try with the Kubota sometime. Nice job though

Here is a pic of me in the "hole" with the dogs today. I have been working on getting it cut up but it started raining on me. My helper has decided she is not going to come outside today so I guess it is up to me.

That is a monster root ball, your gonna have to figure a way to lighten it up before you'll even be able to drag it!

Make sure no pets or people are in the hole when you cut close to the stump, it will fall back in the hole. kids have been killed by that.

I got it all cut up this afternoon, now I will just need to work on the root ball a little. It would nice nice if I could get it up out of the hole but I am not sure my truck will even pull it out. Plus, the warm weather has everything pretty soft. I may have to wait till it gets cold again, then try it.
