If you use ULSD you should also use an additive, when they took all the sulphur out that took out the lubricating value as well.. You don't need an additive with bio it has much better lubricating value than ULSD. Keep in mind if there is anything in your fuel system algae or what ever the bio will loosen all that stuff up might want to have a spare fuel filter on hand.

I add some bio to both my tractor and to my 7.3 ford; I buy B20 and add enough to the tank to make a 2 - 5% bio content. This is supposed to be enough to solve lubricity problems.

I know first hand that KIOTI only approves up to B5 Bio, they are in the process of testing higher grades and have yet to release their findings.
