I would think that Bird would probably be an Owl, a wise Owl, or perhaps even a Barn Owl to watch over our tractors in the Barn.

I really and truly and sincerely hate to say that anyone is wrong on this truly wonderful site so i am not going to...I just want to say that BIRD is not a bird!!!! Yes he may fly on the wings of an eagle!!! Yes he may have the wisdom that is usually perceived as being that of an owl!!! !!! BUT!!!!....Let ask you all one question!!! ?????? What animal is sure footed as a compact tractor???? What animal takes the time to think his thoughts out , that is strong , sure footed and always reliable , one that you can always count on to land (even after the most precipitous a perilous of questions, time and even in the heat of battle) on all four feet...or should we say wheels...........there is none other that is so wise , trustworthy , and sure footed , as the GOAT...the RAM!!!!! and as i mentioned in one of our other happy strings!!!!!!!!! BIRD AND JUNKSTER BOTH ...MOST HELPFULLY showed up at my house to help me put in my new well pump ....and i sincerely appreciated it!!!! immensely believeume!!!! by the way generally BIRD is usually right or he'll always point you in the right direction!!!! But don't forget one thing ...goats and rams are especially stubborn /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif so says BIRD with a grin ..(and if u don't believe me jist ask Junkman...so anyway where were we.....oh yeah !!! bout the BIRDSTER!! 12k replies What a guy..What a man ...What an animal!!!!!!!! aaaarrrrrrggggghh... I have pics of him clownin around on my liddle "new to me " tractor so what more do you want me to say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If i was on the precipice of a new horizon with more dangerous cliffs and craggs to climb, I would only want to follow one animal ........... THE BIRD...THE GOAT!!!!!!!! THE ONE ...THE TRUE CLIMBER OF THEM ALL!!!!!

THE ONE..THE ONLY CLIFF HANGING
ANIMAL THAT OUR GOOD LORD
EVER CREATED
THE GOAT!!

I knew that you knew how to spell and that the Maine hick writing was just an act. You see, only people that have intelligence can write like you do with all the 2's, B's, & 4's. Now tell us the truth..... what year are you in college? I know this because this is how college students take notes now days! You can't fool and old fool like the Junkster!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Been there, done that, and been around the block more than once. Besides, I have a PHD! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Junkman,
I don't have a college education, but I type in complete sentences!

I even type the correct homophones most of the time, which I have noticed is a common mistake on the internet. (You know, "there, their, they're" or "to, two, too")

Maybe it's just me, but I think posts are much easier to read with complete words, punctuation, and separate paragraphs between thoughts.

Is there something wrong with me?
(Yeah, I know. That's a loaded question, isn't it?) /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

AndyM,
If there's anything wrong with you.........I have the same problem /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I don't have a college education either, but I think I take enough classes I should have a PHD myself.....oh yeah, I have a PHD, but it will only dig a 12" hole.

Andy, I do have a college education, but whatever I learned about grammar, punctuation, spelling, typing, etc. came from high school, not college. And unfortunately, I've known many college graduates who cannot write or type in complete sentences. I would guess you had a good English teacher, as I did, in high school (of course I understand they don't call it "English" anymore; it's "language arts"). /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Incidentally, if you want a college education, it's never too late. I didn't receive my Bachelor's Degree until I was 35 years old. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I didn't start back to college part time when I was 26 with any intentions of getting a college degree; just started taking classes that I thought might have something I wanted to learn, and one thing led to another. A college degree doesn't make you any smarter, but college can be both fun and educational if there are things you want to learn more about.
