We have to find things that engage her brain during the summer, so we try to find fun camps for her to attend. One of them was at the local branch of Indiana University. She took four classes and loved it. She's going back again this summer.
This kid amazes me. She's one of those folks that can read something once, maybe twice, and remember it. She goes to grade school each day, then she attends a latchkey program at the same school until we pick her and her sister up. There, she goes outside with her friends for a while, then comes back in and does her homework or sometimes goes to chior practice or chess club. She's acitve in sports, Girl scouts, Karate, and serves at church. All that and she gets great grades, too. She never seems stressed or upset. She's a bright, fun loving kid that I enjoy being around. Her little sister is a pistol, too /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Between them and their mom, I am truly a lucky man!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
