This one is a little different, I think.

Does anyone have experience, particularly with accompanying photos, with mounting a clay bird thrower on their 3PH?

I want to chunk birds across a field, and I think the 8N is an ideal platform for an electric thrower. It would make it easy to rearrange the position of the thrower, and I can carry plenty o' birds in the FEL bucket.

Alternatively, I could mount the thrower on the FEL, and gain a whole new range of motion.

Anybody?

I built my manual one an extension arm that fits on a standard trailer hitch 1 7/8" ball on my truck, just a 2" pipe that fits over the ball with a 4ft long "arm" (3 bits of 1" mild steel tube welded together), a horizontal plate at end to bolt the manual thrower to. Later, I found the ball left too much slack for the pipe so had a "slug" machined out of mild steel built, about 1 7/8' dia but about 4 " tall with a chamfer on top, bolted to where the trailer ball was so pipe is better supported. I now use it on my ATV or Ranger which both have a 2" receiver hitch. The slug could be bolted to a FEL or draw bar. I do not know what the base of an electric thrower looks like but perhaps this will spur some ideas. Please keep us posted on your solution.
