I think the hatchlings learn to fly in a week to 8 days. When the wrens build the nests too high, you sometimes see the corpses of small birds where they left the nest and did a kamikaze to the ground. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif It they are lower, it's only a small spill and they get up and try again. . . if the cat doesn't get 'em. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
