John,
Here is another shot. Once I take it off again I will try to get a shot of the A-frame from the tractor point of view.
Two main uses for me; Ditch making and road maintance. While I am a novice at this I think end plates would get in the way of the ditch work, although they would probably help alot for gravel spreading, etc...
The moldboard is 5/16" thick. I can drag this 4wd tractor to a halt with this guy and thats with the transmission in crepper range gear 1! Doesn't seem to phase the blade at all.
These folks make three basic lines in the heavy duty category. NVH-###-XHD, NHVH-###-XHD, and an NVHL-###-XHD. The three numbers ### are either 240, 270, 300. The 240 is 8', the 270 is 9', and the 300 is 10'.
The difference between the NVH and the NHVH is that the extra H stands for hydraliucs. The NHVH model has all the mouting points for cylinders on all three adjustemnts, and can come with the cylinders already mounted if you elect. The cool thing is you can get the NHVH without the cylinders like I did. The latter on you have the optiion of adding the cylinders on the cheap from TSC or similiar.
The NVHL is an even heaveir duty model with a 1/2 mold board. This one is rated upto 150 HP.
This company does not offer a rear wheel like the very heavy duty woods. I could not figure out any real advantage of the rear wheel and the woods cost was much much higher.
Fred
