As mentioned earlier this weekend we discovered our water softener had been installed with water inlet/outlet reversed - this led to the rosin escaping into out HWH and various plumbing fixtures along with not actually softening our water
Plumber has fixed this, flushed out HWH and various fixtures, also installed a 2nd HWH tank to be pre-heated by the desuperheater in the Heatpump.
I kicked up the thermosat a deg to make sure all was running and within 2min the copper pipe exiting the DSH was too hot for me to touch :thumbsup: going to be interesting how this affects the electric usage for HWH'ing?
