I have the option to purchase regular (lift) blades or mulching blades for my 6 rear discharge finish mower I use for maintaining my pastures.

What do you use?
What do you recommend?
Why?

Thanks!

I prefer regular lift blades on my Woods 72" rear discharge finish mower which I use to maintain the grassy areas in my apple orchard and surrounding open areas.
I was never a fan of mulcting blades even on my JD garden tractor's 54" deck.

I use high lift blades for my field. My field grass is high in moisture content and mulching blades like Gator blades made a mess under the deck. High lift blades keep the deck much cleaner.
