Blizzard 2015 What I Learned about LED Lights

In the same context it would be interesting to know others' experience with LED-lights. Have just ordered some from . . . you guessed it . . . China, on eBay. Have also seen a lot @ AliExpress, and the prices are very favourable compared to retail here in Norway! And freight is included. We had our toll-free import max quota increased to NOK 350 incl freight, so the freight-included is a great bonus.

Check Ridgid Industries;top flight lights and wiring harnesses.Expensive but very good and USA made.

I have 2 Rigid D2 Dually's in the wide angle flavor attached to my rops via ram mounts. these have serious output for a tractor. If i were to do it again i might of considered the diffused pattern. They are quite Pricey but i'd rather buy American when possible we give enough money and jobs to the Communist in China

We just put a set of Ridgid D2 dually's on a friend's 2014 Jeep, awesome lights. We put the same on his boat and my boat.
Rigid also builds a set that has high beam/low beam from 660-3500 lumens:DOT legal.

Actually, it isn't the commies in China who are busy making and selling stuff- it's the entrepreneurs with gumption. Though the commie government must subsidize shipping costs. I love to help American businesses too, but if we can't/won't compete, then it's only a matter of time until the world markets kill those industries as being non-competitive. There's no reason we can't do a good job in some fields requiring skill, automation and innovation- look at the auto industry- some of our better products are world class, for sure. Little stuff, made by the millions, like lights and switches, are going to be cheaper when made where environmental and labor standards are lower and quantities are greater. The waterproof LED light switches I just bought, for $4.50 each delivered from China, probably aren't even made in our country any more.
