I've got a 20+ year old B8200, and it needs glo plugs even on cool summer days. I spent $33 on a screw-in block heater that was easy to install, once I cobbled the right tool, and I use it in the winter... never gets much below 10-15 degrees here in Merryland, but sure makes a difference with my older tractor. (Yep, I use synthetic oil) I would recommend it. (both the oil and the heater)
I think I posted some fotos of the "tool" when I installed the heater, in case anyone is curious or has too much time on their hands.
