Blowby or normal???

This was more just an ease my mind request. I was starting to think it sounded normal. I'm using Amsoil 5W-30 Series 3000 in it and it isn't using or losing any oil. I was just very surprised to see exhaust smoke there.. which seemed like it would be blowby at the exhaust valves to be seeing that.

I'll go back to working it this evening as I have about 3 acres to bush hog again. I have 2 horses heads roaming around my pasture... I havn't seen the "rest" of the horses in about 2 weeks so I can't truly be sure if there is more to them or not and I'm sure my renters are getting ansy about snakes.

i noticed a few drops off oil on the floor from that tube...seems to occur after a long hot day mowing...oil never appears low, so i don't fret about it too much

Getut - with only 30hr (if that's still where your at), your rings may not yet be seated as well as they will eventually. It may actually reduce in time.

Based on your description, eveything sounds perfectly normal to me. Both of my diesel trucks emit a little smoke from the vent tube and so does my CK20.
It is especially evident to me when I am using my tractor in the dark. The smoke that is not noticeable in sunlight is easily seen as it passes through the beams of my headlights at night.
