Blue snow

I have been pushing snow 4 days . What makes the pretty blue ribbon in the windrow ?

Sounds to me like some nice fresh new snow with a fairly high moisture content and just the right light, It is kind of pretty, until one has to come along and re-arrange all those snowflakes

Look at the paintings by Pa Impressionist Fern Coppedge. All the snow she painted was blue.

I've seen the same effect where I'm at. Kind of pretty. It's the yellow snow that looks disgusting.

In Minnesota I've seen pink snow that had picked up dust from the Dakotas after an extended drought...and "Dog Ears" at sunrise in the -30 winters. Another one of Nature's beauties.
