I think you may be right. Bobcat is owned by Doosan. Both Bobcat and Kioti tractors were made by Daedong. I think that may be as far as it goes.

I can find Doosan owns Bobcat, CANNOT find they own Daedong.

No, it will be a Kioti painted white same as before. Two different tractor manufacturers. Kioti and Bobcat are owned by Daedong/Doosan and use their own engines.

Did they fail, or did Doosong buy Bobcat and not want to compete Kioti to Kioti? Since then they have realized that the American Market does this normally and they can get a larger market share. Plus Bobcat always had their own slight twist ( the nice Bobcat Seat for example).

Hopefully this means we, owners of Bobcat Tractors, will no longer be considered red-headed step children.

CUT/SCUT 4WD tractors are selling at a great rate and increasing double digits year over year - if you could sell tractors you would consider it!

few markets are growing double digits.

Look at RK - they claim to be outselling kioti in less than a year sellng tractors are only a small percentage of their stores. If you're TYM do you care that you're building the competition's machines? Assuming TYM makes more on their own units over resale (rk, mahindra) units? I would think so.

They got in it last time at the poorest time possible. They rode it through the economic downturn but gave up eventually. It always seemed like a great fit to me. I also hope they reconsider but I am skeptical for now.

Just talk to the local kioti dealer And he confirmed that bobcat is bringing back tractors and he said there’s a lot of talk about it being a very strong commitment. Apparently some of the dealers did not want to deal with that again. Can’t say that I blame them but I for one am happy about it.

I’m glad they are getting back into it, and it sounds like they are. I’m thinking it’ll increase future support, but there’s no real sound logic behind that. Maybe wishful thinking. Mine is still like brand new. It does everything I need it to do, and runs great. I’m hoping my grandkids will still be running it long after I’m gone.

Doosan and Daedong - Sold through Bobcat dealers, same as before. Daedong builds the Kioti too.

Being a kioti owner, I'd say this is a good thing overall for all of us.

Did you see this, a few years back now, but applies to tier 4 engines? My kioti after the initial 50 hour oil change, says to change oil ever 400 hours. Yes four hundred. Trans oil every 200! Wow.

Isn't everything synthetic these days?

Trans - every 200 change HST and trans oil filters. Every 400 replace..sorry, their checklist/maintenance list is hard to read. Must be the korean right to left conversion to left to right reading in america or something.

Tier 2 and 3 engines get 250 hours on oil.

Also says to replace oil every year...I've never been an annual (or every 3 months on cars) kinda guy, other than say, coolant and brake fluid. As long as you get to op temp often enough to burn off condensation.

It appears they're back. I saw this on FB today. A dealer said this is actually a CK3510SE with Bobcat's paint scheme.
