Bogus ads on TBN??

Back to the original topic: If you were to answer any of these ads you would get some sob story about how the seller had to quickly move overseas and leave the machine behind and now wants just to get rid of it. Supposedly its in the hands of a (BOGUS) "escrow service" with a legitimate sounding name like "Square Trade". All you need to do is send the seller $3000 or however much through said "escrow service" and they will ship the tractor to your door, and if you're unhappy with the machine you don't have to accept it, they'll have it picked up again and refund your money. Yah sure, you betcha! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif If you fall for this not only will you get NO tractor, you'll never see one red cent of your hard-earned money again. If you ask the "seller" if you can come see the tractor or pick it up in person, chances are you'll never hear from them again either! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So for that particular tractor/meter, 1 hour means 108,000 (1800 x 6 x 10) revolutions of the engine, regardless of the time it takes to turn over that many times. Is there any standard for proofmeters or usage meters or revolution meters or whatever name they have? Why do I know ahead of time that the answer is no? Further, why do I know that this whole discussion is pretty much moot and we just need to watch the meter anyways? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am selling this tractors because I will soon be moving to the Czech Republic and I can't use there.

This are great tractors in perfect running condition with low hours. All the manuals and the original documentation are written in eight languages. I am the original owner.

Because is a large transaction I will use Escrow's Vehicle Purchase Protection Program. The transaction will be covered by purchase protection against fraud and description errors, and you will be insured for the entire value of the purchase. You must send the payment to Escrow and they will release it to me upon your clearance after you have the tractor checked and everything. I am prepared to give you 30 days to inspect the tractor and make sure everything is ok.

If you are ready for this purchase, I will need your full name and address for the shipping. As soon as I have this information I shall start the official procedure, and Escrow will notify you about this. You will also receive important guidelines + instructions from them.
