I am selling this tractors because I will soon be moving to the Czech Republic and I can't use there.

Judging from his very correct but imperfect English, I'd be willing to bet that he isn't even on this continent. No contractions, the occasional missing word, things like that definitely set my alarms off. Not to mention "buy it now" and he's not on Ebay. If there was ever a signal that the deal is highly likely to be bogus, that's it for me.

I suspect his delay was from standing in a long line of scammers at the prison computer.

( Then my B2710 had the other kind, tied to the tachometer. It would register one hour in one hour if the engine was running at PTO speed. If you were running at, say half the PTO RPM, it would only register half an hour in an actual hour. )

Interesting. I recently looked at a B2410 and the tach was not working at all. I THINK I saw the “tenths” move slightly while driving it but not certain. I questioned the seller if the hours were accurate because of the tach not working and he said it had moved a few tenths since he’s had it. I wonder if the hours are correct? It does appear in condition appropriate to the hours. I’ve seen worse with fewer hours......for instance one that is beat to death, rusted, welded, and dirty on every inch except the hour meter that shows 800, the hour meter is nice and clean...hmmmmm.

That's how I hone in on the fraudsters too. I call it "Pig English" because they slaughter the English language and don't even realize it.
