I bought two blem hooks from Ken's Bolt On Hooks. Ordered on line Sunday. Delivered early this morning in the mail. Fast shipping! They were only barely blemished. I painted them this morning to match my tractor, and put them on this afternoon. Picture. 20180718_151716.jpg

Very nice! I put 3 hooks across my loader from Ken also. I picked mine up a few years ago and he showed me his operation... quite a setup, and he takes it very seriously.

If I was to put a D-Ring in the center, between the hooks, so I can use rope also, how much should I limit the lifts to? Would 300 pounds be too much? There is a 1.5 inch square tube welded into the top front edge of the 50.5" bucket.

I have a set as well, a little pricey but I do like them..

Don’t know, I have a construction attachment 60inch medium duty bucket and have lifted 650 lbs with the chain across both hooks many times with no issues, you’re bucket looks very similar to mine.

First thing I did on my L2501 was add the hooks from Ken . Used them many times to pull a large tree out of the way. Pick up heavy stuff to move or get it off the truck.

Love my set. I also have the ones with the shackle attachment that I have not used. I have used them most to keep things is the bucket, like very large rocks.

40,000 pound D rings are like $7 on amazon. Why screw around with a 300 pound d ring that isn’t big enough to fit a chain hook through? I make max loader capacity lifts in the center of my bucket all the time, but it’s a heavier duty bucket. I think I would throw some angle iron across that bucket first.

He's asking about LIFTING 300lbs, not using a 300lb capacity D-Ring.

I weigh 300 lbs. I wouldn’t hesitate to stand (or jump up an down) on the center of that bucket. At long as the ring is properly attached, it will be fine.

I like lifting with the chain across both hooks so the loader arms are lifting with both sides.

Which is why I put a hook in the center.

I have a receiver in the middle of my bucket and two bolt on hooks inline with the loader arms. I put a 1/4" x 4" backing plate all the way across inside the bucket. All six bolts go thru this plate to reinforce the top of the bucket. My little tractor only has an 1100 pound lift capacity but better safe than sorry.

One on each side is good enough for me.. When I had a bigger tractor I had three hooks welded to a plate that went the length of the bucket for support but I use my pallet forks for most of my lifting these days..
